Assistance with Connecting SVN Repositories in Jira

I installed Jira along with a Subversion plugin, but I can’t find an option to link an SVN repository to a project for commit tracking. Is an extra plugin needed?

hey, i ran into this too. try looking under the project admin settings; sometimes its buried in repo integration options. also, double check your plugin version against jira updates, you might need a patch update too.

I encountered a similar issue when I began using the SVN plugin with Jira. Initially, I thought additional plugins might be necessary, but it turned out that the integration option was more hidden than expected. The solution involved reviewing the global plugin configuration settings rather than just the project settings. I had to manually configure and enable repository connections in settings that aren’t immediately linked to individual projects. Consulting the plugin’s manual helped clarify where these settings were located and ensured I configured everything correctly.

I faced a similar problem recently. The configuration option for linking SVN repositories was not missing, but rather hidden in an unexpected section of the global settings rather than the project details. After some digging and following the documentation closely, I encountered that the SVN integration required additional permissions and explicit activation within the admin console. It turned out that I had to navigate past the default project settings to find the correct location for enabling commit tracking. In my experience, thoroughly updating the settings and checking both project and global configurations resolved the issue.

hey, i found that its tucked away under advanced integration settings in jira. if you cant see it, check your permissions and docs. sometimes its not as intuitive as expected
