I recently earned certifications in HubSpot Email Marketing and Revenue Operations since I couldn’t get practical experience with these tools. I wanted to demonstrate my commitment to entering the sales operations field. While applying to various Sales Ops roles, one company mentioned they would provide training on their CRM system, which happens to be Monday.com, if I were to join their team. I’m wondering how challenging it is to enter this industry without hands-on CRM experience. Are most employers willing to train new hires on their specific platforms, or do they typically expect candidates to already have working knowledge of popular CRM systems? Any insights about breaking into sales operations would be really helpful.
most firms rly dont expect u to kno their specific CRM setup - each one is diff. your hubspot certs indicate u understand the basics, which is key. i got a job w/o salesforce exp and was trained. they focus more on grasping sales processes than on where every single button is.
