I’ve been searching around but can’t find clear info directly from HubSpot about veteran discounts or military pricing programs. Has anyone here who served in the military been able to get a discount on their HubSpot subscription? If so, what kind of savings did you get and how did you apply for it? I asked HubSpot support this exact question last year when I was transitioning from military contracting to consulting. They don’t have an official military discount program, but I got a reduced rate anyway. During my sales call, I mentioned being a veteran and explained my startup situation. The rep was cool about it and knocked some money off my first year. Skip the standard signup and talk to sales directly. Tell them about your military background and what you need - they’ll work with veterans on pricing even though there’s no formal program.
I’ve been using HubSpot for about 18 months now as active duty military. They don’t advertise any military discounts on their site, but I hit up their chat support anyway and explained I’m military with a side business. The chat agent connected me with sales, and they gave me 25% off the starter plan for six months. Wasn’t automatic - had to verify my military status with my ID and do some back-and-forth. The discount ended after those six months, but it helped me get going without going broke. This happened during their quarter end, so timing probably helped with getting them to negotiate.
totally get that! hubspot seems to be a bit vague on discounts for military, but from what i’ve heard, talking directly to sales could help. some veterans have scored better deals by asking, so it’s worth a shot! good luck!
