Has anyone tried connecting HubSpot with Procore using Zapier automation?

We’re currently using Procore for our construction management needs at work. Our sales team wants to start using a CRM system and HubSpot seems like a good fit. I found out that Zapier can supposedly connect these two platforms together automatically. I’m curious if anyone here has actually tried this integration before. Did it work well for your workflow? Were you able to sync data between the systems without major issues? I want to know if it’s worth setting up or if there are any problems I should expect. Any feedback about how smooth the process was would be really helpful. We don’t want to waste time on something that doesn’t work properly.

We set this up six months ago and it’s been solid. Configuration took a while - you’ve got to map HubSpot lead info to Procore project contacts correctly. Basic contact data and project updates sync great, but complex custom fields can get messy. Once it’s running, the automation’s reliable with just occasional delays (maybe a few minutes). Get admin access to both platforms first - you’ll need to authorize tons of permissions. Totally worth it though. Our sales team can now see which leads became actual projects without any manual work.

Tried this integration 8 months ago - ran into some real issues. Basic stuff like contacts and company info syncs fine, but Procore’s project hierarchy is a mess when it hits HubSpot’s deal structure. Had to hack together workarounds for project phases and change orders. Worst part? When Procore updates project data, the sync goes haywire and creates duplicate records in HubSpot. Zapier support was helpful but basically said construction software is tricky to work with. I’m still using it but spend way too much time cleaning up duplicates manually. Test it hard with your actual data before you commit - trust me on this one.

I haven’t used HubSpot and Procore together, but I’ve seen Zapier struggle with construction apps before. The data mapping can be tricky with CRM and project tools, especially if you have custom fields. Maybe give it a test run with a small dataset first.
