I was playing and somehow my Ru-Ru character ended up getting buried way too early in the game. This really caught me off guard because I thought I had more time before this would happen.
Now I’m wondering if anyone else has experienced something similar with their characters. The burial happened so fast that I didn’t get to complete half the things I wanted to do with Ru-Ru.
I’m thinking about doing a complete reboot using Miro instead, but I’m not sure if that’s the best approach. Has anyone tried switching to Miro after losing their main character? Does it give you better results or should I try a different strategy?
Any advice would be really helpful because I don’t want to waste more time if there’s a better way to handle this situation.
Switching to Miro after losing Ru-Ru can actually work out better than you’d think. Same thing happened to me six months ago - lost my main character way earlier than expected. I was frustrated at first, but Miro’s different progression is quite advantageous. The main difference is that Miro starts with boosted resource gathering, allowing you to rebuild your position faster than starting over with Ru-Ru. However, Miro requires more strategic planning in the mid-game. Before switching, check if there’s a way to recover Ru-Ru, as the burial mechanic can sometimes be reversible depending on your game state. If recovery isn’t possible, then Miro is your best option over a complete restart.
