I built a custom integration for my Notion workspace using the free plan. The integration was set up properly and points to the right workspace. Now I need to connect it to a particular page so it can access the content.
I found some documentation that mentioned using the invite feature to share pages with integrations. When I tried clicking the invite button on my page, I expected to see my integration listed as an option to add. But the integration doesn’t show up in the invitation menu at all.
I’m wondering if this feature requires a paid Notion subscription or if I’m missing something in the setup process. Has anyone else run into this issue with connecting integrations to pages on the free tier? Are there any workarounds or alternative methods to grant page access to a custom integration?
Check if your integration token’s still valid in Notion settings. Had this exact issue last month - my token expired without any heads up. Go to workspace settings, find your integration under connections, and check the status. If that looks fine, delete the integration completely and set it up again from scratch. Sometimes the initial connection just doesn’t work right even when everything seems good. After you recreate it, wait about 10 minutes before inviting it to your page again. Notion’s servers need that time to actually register the new integration.
i faced that too! just make sure ur integration is properly linked to the workspace. also, check those permissions. if still no luck, maybe refresh or log out and in again—often helps!
