How many Telegram bots can I create with one account

Hello everyone! I’m new to bot development and have a quick question about Telegram bot restrictions. I’ve been looking everywhere but can’t find clear information about how many bots one person can actually create. All the documentation I found talks about message sending limits and API rate limits, but nothing mentions the maximum number of bots allowed per account. Does anyone know if there’s a specific limit on bot creation? I’m planning to build several bots for different projects and want to make sure I won’t hit any walls. Thanks for any help!

I’ve been building Telegram bots for two years and run about 15 active ones right now. Telegram doesn’t have a hard limit on how many bots you can create through BotFather. The real bottleneck is API rate limits per bot, not bot creation. That said, only make bots you’ll actually use - managing tons of them gets messy fast. If you’re doing commercial stuff or handling high volume, spread your bots across multiple accounts. Better organization and less risk if something goes wrong.

I’ve got 8 bots running on one account with zero issues from Telegram. There’s no official limit that I know of - you can create as many as you want. Each bot gets its own token and rate limits, so they don’t interfere with each other. Just keep good notes on what each bot does because BotFather’s organization is terrible. If you’re going commercial, think about maintenance - managing tons of bots gets messy fast. For dev and testing though? Go wild.

honestly, telegram doesn’t care how many bots u create as long as ur not spamming or breaking TOS. i’ve made 20+ bots for testing and never got flagged. just stay within each bot’s api limits - they’re pretty generous. don’t go nuts making hundreds for no reason tho.
