Individual HubSpot emails ending up in recipients' spam folders

I recently attended a networking event and collected contact information from 3 potential clients. After the event, I composed personalized messages for each person using the HubSpot web application. These weren’t mass emails or automated sequences, just individual one-on-one correspondence.

All three recipients mentioned that my messages landed in their spam folders instead of their main inbox. The content was professional and didn’t contain promotional links or suspicious language. My domain has been active for approximately 2 years, and I haven’t engaged in bulk cold outreach campaigns that might have damaged my sender reputation.

Since I’m using HubSpot’s basic plan, I don’t have access to their technical support team. Has anyone experienced similar deliverability issues when sending personal emails through HubSpot? Would switching to a different email client improve my inbox placement rates? Any suggestions would be appreciated as this is affecting my follow-up efforts with prospects.

yeah, def check your SPF/DKIM settings. hubspot shares IPs, and if others mess up, it affects your deliverability. send a test email and peek at the headers. warming up your domain can help too by sending regular emails.
