Is Jira Cloud experiencing downtime?

Hey everyone,

I’m having trouble accessing our Jira Cloud instance. Every time I try to log in, I get a 500 - Internal server error message. We’re based in Portugal, so we’re using the European servers.

I checked the status page, and it says everything is working fine. But I’m still unable to get in. Is anyone else facing this problem?

I’m wondering if it’s just us or if there’s a wider issue going on. Has anyone heard anything about Jira Cloud having problems today?

Any info would be really helpful. Thanks in advance for your input!

I’m based in the UK and we’re facing the same problem. Our entire team has been unable to access Jira Cloud since this morning. We’ve tried various troubleshooting steps like clearing cache, using different networks, and even VPNs, but nothing seems to work.

From what I can gather, this appears to be a widespread issue affecting European servers. I’ve checked Twitter and there are quite a few people reporting similar problems.

One thing that’s worked for us as a temporary workaround is using the Jira mobile app. It’s not ideal, but at least we can access some basic functionality.

I’d recommend keeping an eye on Atlassian’s official channels for updates. They usually post on their community forums or social media when there are major outages like this. Hopefully, they’ll have it resolved soon.

I’ve been experiencing similar issues from our office in Germany. It seems this might be affecting multiple European users. Have you tried reaching out to Atlassian support? They might have more up-to-date information than the status page. In my experience, sometimes these issues are resolved quickly, but it’s worth logging a ticket if it persists. In the meantime, I’ve found that using the mobile app sometimes works when the web interface is down. Might be worth a try if you need urgent access to any critical information.

hey there, i’m having the same issue here in spain. can’t access jira cloud either. tried different browsers and even my phone, no luck. maybe its a regional thing? anyone else in europe experiencing this? hope they fix it soon, got deadlines to meet!
