Is there a comprehensive email click report in HubSpot that I'm missing?

Hey everyone,

I’m trying to get a big picture view of our email performance this year. We’ve sent about 150 emails so far and I want to see all the click data and links in one place.

Right now it looks like I have to check each email one by one to count links and look at clicks. That’s a lot of work!

Am I missing something obvious? Is there a built-in report that shows all this info together? I’m thinking about making a custom report but it seems weird that there’s no easy way to see all our click data at once.

Maybe I’m just not caffeinated enough to find it. Has anyone else figured out a good way to do this? Any advice would be super helpful!

Thanks in advance!

hey JumpingMountain, i kno how annoying this can get. try using HubSpot’s email analytics tool for a quick glance, but if it misses stuff, maybe export to excel and play with it. works for me sometimes. best of luck!

As someone who’s been in your shoes, I can tell you there’s no magic button for this in HubSpot. But here’s what I’ve found works:

Use the ‘Email Performance’ report as a starting point. It won’t give you everything, but it’s a good base. Then, I export that data and combine it with the ‘Email Clicks’ report (under ‘Reports’ > ‘Analytics Tools’).

Once I’ve got both exports, I use Excel or Google Sheets to merge the data. It takes some time to set up, but once you’ve got your formulas right, you can reuse the sheet for future reports.

For the links, I’ve had to get creative. I wrote a small script that pulls this info from the HubSpot API. It’s not perfect, but it saves hours of manual work.

It’s not ideal, but it gets the job done until HubSpot hopefully adds this feature. Good luck with your reporting!

I’ve encountered this issue as well. Unfortunately, there isn’t a comprehensive built-in report for all email click data in HubSpot. However, I’ve found a workaround that might help. You can use the ‘Email Performance’ report and customize it to include click data for all your emails. Then, export this to a spreadsheet for further analysis. It’s not perfect, but it saves time compared to checking each email individually. Another option is to use the HubSpot API to pull this data if you’re comfortable with some light coding. Hope this helps with your reporting needs.
