This completely blew my mind today!

I used to think it was totally impossible to embed most HubSpot features into custom dashboards. I swear this wasn’t working before because I definitely tested it multiple times in the past.

But now everything seems to work perfectly:

  • Marketing campaigns ✓
  • Email performance comparisons ✓
  • Lead scoring targets ✓
  • Social media analytics ✓

The trick is using the “external content” option when you’re setting up widgets in your dashboard builder. Just select that option and you can pull in pretty much any report or tool view.

This is going to save me so much time switching between different sections. Hope this helps other people who didn’t know about this feature!

Been using this for six months - total game changer. Just watch out for permissions when sharing dashboards with your team. I had widgets showing up blank for people without access to certain HubSpot modules. The complex custom reports are slow to load too, especially with big datasets. Stick with standard reports if you want better performance. Heavy customization with tons of filters will bog things down.
