The LinkedIn-Zapier integration has been a nightmare for company page management. You can’t automate employee advocacy or coordinate team posting schedules at all. Company posts still need manual approval workflows, which kills our social media calendar automation. Lead gen forms are another huge gap - sure, you can capture leads, but you can’t automatically update form questions or pause campaigns based on performance triggers. I’ve had to use Buffer for scheduling and manually export LinkedIn lead data weekly to sync with our marketing automation platform. The integration completely fails when tracking competitor activity or industry insights, so we’re stuck using expensive third-party monitoring tools instead of a simple Zapier connection.
Honestly, prospect data extraction is completely broken for me. I tried setting up Zaps to pull profile info from Sales Navigator, but it’s unreliable as hell. It keeps timing out and misses the custom fields we need for qualification. Ended up paying for PhantomBuster - feels like overkill, but at least it works.
