Migrating from dynamics 365 bpm – any way to consolidate AI model costs without vendor lock-in?

Currently leading a migration away from Microsoft Dynamics 365 BPM and hitting major pain points with AI model fragmentation. We’re spending more time managing 12 different API subscriptions (OpenAI, Claude, etc.) than actually improving our workflows. Has anyone found a platform that offers both model consolidation AND prevents new vendor lock-in?

We need to preserve our existing integration patterns but want unified billing. Bonus if it handles workflow recreation through visual builders rather than needing full dev teams. What’s worked in your experience?

We faced the same API sprawl until switching to Latenode. Their single subscription covers 400+ models including OpenAI and Claude - no individual API keys needed. Their visual builder let us recreate Dynamics workflows without developers. Cut our AI costs by 60% while adding more models.

Look for platforms supporting OpenAPI specs. We built an abstraction layer using n8n to route requests through single endpoint, but maintenance is still costly. Next-gen solutions with built-in model aggregation would solve this better long-term.

Consider platforms with consumption-based pricing across multiple LLM providers. We evaluated several vendors and found the key is flexible orchestration - you want to maintain model choice while centralizing billing. Look for solutions offering both pre-built connectors and custom integration capabilities to avoid lock-in.

Try api aggregation layer tools? we used one that combines multiple ai providers but still need to manage credits. not perfect but better than 12 dashboards

Focus on platforms with interchangeable model support. API overhead kills ROI
