I recently received an email informing me that my music streaming subscription will cost more starting next month. It’s quite annoying because it seems like the prices just went up before. Has anyone else observed that these streaming services keep raising their rates? I’m considering whether to switch to another platform or if they’re all similar in this regard. Even though the increase isn’t very large, it accumulates over time, especially with a family plan. I’m interested in hearing what others think about these frequent price increases and if the enhancements to the service actually make it worth the extra monthly cost.
Music streaming prices keep going up everywhere and it sucks. I’ve watched most platforms pull this same move over the years - jack up prices without really improving anything. Jumping to another service might help short-term, but they all end up doing the same thing eventually. If you can swing it, downgrading to an individual plan saves money. Or just buy music directly from artists you love - more of your money actually goes to them instead of the platform.
