Optimal use cases have agents with distinct responsibilities: data acquisition, validation, transformation, decision-making. Workflows where all agents perform similar tasks add unnecessary complexity.
Reliability improvements are real—isolated failures and clear error attribution. Setup and testing time increases noticeably. Return on investment appears after 2-3 maintenance cycles or significant requirement changes.
Use agents for complex logic. Keep simple workflows simple.
