From what I understand about AI agent orchestration, you could theoretically have one agent handle scraping from site A, another handle site B, then a third agent analyze the aggregated data. But here’s where I get lost—how do they actually hand off data without losing context or duplicating work? What prevents agent 1 from stepping on agent 2’s work?
I’ve seen people talk about this working smoothly in theory, but I’m skeptical of handoff architecture in general. In my experience, every point where data passes between systems is a failure point. With AI agents doing it, I’d imagine that’s amplified.
Has anyone actually deployed something like this with browser automation tasks? Does the coordination actually work, or do you end up babysitting it constantly? And what does the setup look like—is it easier to orchestrate this stuff visually or do you need someone to write custom logic?

So agent one scrapes site A and stores results in a shared data structure. Agent two isn’t starting blind—it sees exactly what agent one found. Agent three analyzes based on clean, structured output from both.
The platform handles making sure agents don’t duplicate work because they operate sequentially within the workflow. Agent one completes, agent two starts with agent one’s output. No chaos.
I set up a similar setup last quarter. Competitor intelligence gathering across eight sites, then analysis. Deployed three agents, each specialized for one type of scraping logic. Handoffs were automatic. No monitoring needed beyond checking results.
The setup is visual mostly. You define the workflow, assign agents their roles, and the platform manages execution and data passing. Way simpler than I expected.
