Running an end-to-end browser automation with multiple ai agents coordinating the work—is the complexity worth it?

Right now I’m doing this manually or writing separate scripts for each phase. The idea of having agents coordinate the whole thing—handoff data between each step, make decisions about what to do next, generate the final output—sounds elegant.

But I’m wondering if the complexity is actually justified. Setting up multiple agents, making sure they communicate properly, handling failures and retries across the chain—does that overhead actually pay off? Or am I overcomplicating something that could stay simple?
