Setting Up Subprojects Within a Main Project in JIRA

I am currently managing a single project that is expanding into various countries. My goal is to establish a primary project along with individual subprojects for each country in JIRA, allowing me to monitor their progress independently.

From my experience, a practical approach is to utilize JIRA’s board functionality to create separate boards for each country within your existing project. This allows you to have a distinct space for tracking issues related to each location while maintaining an overarching view of the entire project. Additionally, making good use of JIRA’s automation rules can help in updating and synchronizing information across different boards or parts of the project, ensuring consistency without manually duplicating work.
