The free version is getting worse every day
I watch tons of ads but still can’t pick which songs to play. When I close the app and open it again, nothing changes because they save this restriction somewhere on my device. Even switching to different playlists doesn’t help anymore.
This whole thing feels like a money grab. It’s not about the monthly cost - plenty of casual listeners could stick with the free version if it actually worked with ads. But now it’s basically broken on purpose.
They’re trying to soften the blow by giving out those 3-month free trials in batches. Pretty obvious they want people to get used to premium features and then pay up when the trial ends.
Anyone else dealing with this? The free tier used to be decent but now it’s just frustrating.
