Starting a scraping project with a ready-made template—how much do you actually end up rewriting?

I’ve been looking at the Ready-to-Use Templates for headless browser tasks, specifically ones for web scraping and form filling. The pitch is that they save time because you just start with a template instead of building from scratch. But I’m genuinely wondering how much of the template you actually use versus how much you end up throwing away or rewriting. In my experience with other automation platforms, templates are often overgeneralized and require so much customization that you might as well have started from scratch. Does anyone have real experience here? Like, did you pick a scraping template, change maybe 20% of it for your specific site, and have it working? Or did you find yourself gutting 80% of it because it was designed for a different kind of page structure? I’m trying to figure out if these templates actually save time or if they’re just a starting point that makes you feel like you’re saving time.
