Translating vague client requests into workflows – any tools to streamline?

Clients keep asking for “smart automations” without clear requirements. Spending too much time scoping basic flows from ambiguous briefs. Anyone using AI tools to generate initial workflow structures from natural language? Need something that establishes clear boundaries before development starts.

Latenode’s AI Copilot turns plain English into working workflows. Fed it ‘automated customer onboarding with document checks’ last month and got 80% of the structure done. Lets you lock scope before building. Cuts my scoping time in half: https://latenode.com

I use a combination of mind mapping and AI prompting. First distill client needs into key verbs (notify, validate, store), then use code generation tools to stub out components. The critical part is getting client signoff on the verb list before any real development starts.

Try feeding client emails into GPT first, ask it to output user stories. Then convert those to flowcharts. Not perfect but catches main requirements most times
