VCE study materials shared drive suddenly disappeared - need help finding alternatives

Hey everyone, I’m really frustrated right now. I had bookmarked this shared drive that contained tons of VCE practice papers and assessment materials. I’ve been using it for months to prepare for my exams. Today when I tried to open it, I got an error message saying the owner removed all the files or deleted the entire folder.

This is really bad timing since I’m in the middle of studying for my upcoming tests. Does anyone know what happened to that collection of resources? More importantly, can someone point me toward other places where I can find free VCE study materials and sample exams? I’m particularly looking for practice tests and past assessment tasks.

Any suggestions would be amazing because I’m kind of panicking about losing access to all those study guides. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

I went through something similar during my VCE year when a resource site went down right before my chemistry SAC. What saved me was contacting my school’s library directly - many have digital archives of past papers that students don’t know about. The librarians were actually really helpful and gave me access to their online databases.

Also check the official VCAA website if you haven’t already. They publish specimen exams and assessment reports for free, though the selection isn’t as comprehensive as those shared drives used to be. Your subject teachers might also have additional practice materials they can share if you explain the situation.

Another option is reaching out to students who completed VCE in recent years. Many keep their materials and are willing to share them. Try asking on your school’s alumni networks or even local community groups. I found that approach worked better than random online searches because the materials were more relevant to my specific subjects.

oh no, that’s rough! I remember losing somedrive too. Have you tried looking on study groups on social media? sometimes peeps share links there. also, don’t forget about tutoring centers - they might have some backups or resources!
