Where we didn’t use multi-agent: simple workflows. If you’ve got a straightforward three-step process with hard sequential dependencies, one agent works fine. Multi-agent coordination starts becoming valuable when you have 3+ parallel execution paths or when task specialization genuinely affects output quality.
