I am looking for guidance on how to change the details shown on the issue page in Jira version 7. Specifically, I want to remove fields like ‘Organization’ and ‘Components’ that are unnecessary for our use case. I am having trouble locating the settings or mask that would allow me to edit the existing fields and eliminate the unwanted ones.
Hey! it’s been a while since i used version 7, but i remember you go to ‘Admin’ > ‘Screens’, find the screen scheme for your project, then edit the field configuration. maybe check with ur sysadmin if you’re not seeing the options? sometimes permission settings restrict what you can do.
