Hello! I’ve been learning HTML and CSS for a month, completed a Coursera course, and went through responsive web design on freeCodeCamp. Recently, I dove into The Odin Project, where I built a landing page I’m proud of and started working with JavaScript. Initially, everything felt manageable, as I successfully completed a rock-paper-scissors project. However, I’ve now moved on to arrays and loops, and the assignments are incredibly daunting. I previously worked with C# and assumed JavaScript would be simpler due to their similarities, but I was mistaken. Although I’ve tackled three assignments solo, the fourth left me stumped despite spending hours trying to resolve it. I ultimately had to peek at the solution for guidance. I’m determined to keep going, understanding that challenges are part of the learning journey. Have others faced similar trials? Any advice would be appreciated!
Javascript can be tricky cause of its async nature & callbakcs. Unlike C#, it has dynamice typing, which can mislead you with unexpected bugs. Don’t worry - anyone who persists gets through it eventually! Keep experimenting and google whenever you’re stuck; lots of resources out there!
