some ppl subscribe to npm just for the better bandwidth. when you’ve got big projects, the premium version gives faster downloads, can be a real time-saver. plus, less hassle with rate limits so you can keep working without interruptions.
for me, it’s mostly about support n privacy. with the paid version, you get customer support which is super helpful when stuck. also, it lets you keep your packages private which is important for some projects. not a must for everyone, but worth it for some!
