I’m looking for ways to make my email outreach more efficient without having to learn a completely new system. Right now I’m using Gmail for most of my communication and we have HubSpot set up for our CRM. I want to avoid jumping between too many different platforms if possible.
My main goal is to create automated email sequences that can handle follow-ups automatically, but I still want the emails to feel personal and not like obvious templates. Has anyone found good solutions that work directly within Gmail or connect well with HubSpot? I’m hoping to find something that doesn’t require a huge learning curve or expensive monthly subscriptions.

Since you’ve got HubSpot already, just use their sequences instead of trying to automate Gmail. HubSpot’s native sequences work great and still send through your Gmail address - recipients can’t tell the difference. I create templates with personalization tokens for names and company info, then space emails 3-5 business days apart (feels way more natural than exactly 72 hours). Write your sequence emails like you’re actually typing them fresh each time - keeps it conversational. Install the HubSpot sales extension so you can track opens and clicks straight from Gmail.
