I have been using CAI for some time, but I’m finding that the character responses are becoming quite repetitive. Many bots seem to lack individuality and often forget essential plot details, not to mention the awkward filter that restricts interactions. I’ve come across various APIs available in Jai, and I’m curious about your experiences. Which API do you prefer, and what makes it stand out for you? How effective is the AI in retaining character personalities and advancing the story while still allowing for user contributions?
I’m kinda new to Jai, but I’ve had a good run with their open Chat API. it’s pretty flexible, and seems to keep character traits well. it might not be perfect but compared to CAI, i think it’s doing a better job with fun story twists. anyone else tried this?
i gotta say the Anime API from Jai is pretty decent too. though sometimes it lags a bit on responses, the way it captures and maintains anime-style interactions is mindblowing. keeps the essence alive thru long convos, way better than some APIs out there imo!
