Which Figma plugin has become essential to your daily workflow?

I’m curious about the plugins that designers actually rely on every day, not just the ones that are nice to have around. What are those must-have extensions that make your design process smoother?

Here are some that I find myself using constantly:

Feather Icons/Heroicons: My go-to for clean icon sets
Component Breaker: Lets you break components back into regular elements (shocked this isn’t built into Figma)
Web Capture: Takes live websites and turns them into editable Figma designs
Icon Scanner: Massive collection of icons from different libraries, perfect when you need something specific

What plugins do you actually use on a regular basis? I’m always looking for tools that can speed up my workflow.

similayer has been my go-to tool recently. it compares visual similarity between layers and finds duplicates I didn’t even know were there. really useful for cleaning up messy client files or working with large design systems where stuff gets accidentally duplicated.

yup! auto layout is a must, really smooths things out. unsplash helps when i need quick images too. and for accessibility, stark is :raising_hands:! def worth adding to any designer’s toolkit.

Content Reel changed everything for me. No more boring Lorem Ipsum - it pulls realistic content that fits what you’re actually designing. Product descriptions, reviews, blog posts, whatever. Clients love seeing how their real content might look instead of placeholder garbage.

Remove BG is another lifesaver. I used to waste hours cutting out product photos and headshots manually. This thing does it automatically. Won’t handle super complex stuff, but it nails standard product shots and portraits. Saves me from constantly switching between Photoshop and Figma.

Figma to Code is a lifesaver for handoffs. It spits out clean CSS, React, or Flutter code straight from your designs, so developers stop bugging you about spacing and colors. The code isn’t production-ready, but it gives devs a solid starting point. Table Generator is another weekly go-to. Building data tables manually in Figma sucks, but this plugin creates proper tables with realistic data in seconds. Must-have for dashboards or any interface with structured data. Both save me tons of time every day.
