Which tool did Miro Samek use to create UML diagrams in his C/C++ statechart book?

I’m reading through Miro Samek’s book about implementing UML statecharts in C and C++. The diagrams in this book look really clean and professional. I’ve been trying to figure out what diagramming software or drawing tool he used to create these state machine diagrams.

Does anyone know which application was used for the state chart illustrations in this book? I want to create similar looking diagrams for my own project documentation. The style looks consistent throughout the book so I’m assuming he used one specific tool.

Has anyone else noticed the diagram quality in this book or found information about the tools used? Any suggestions for similar diagramming software would be helpful too.

i think he used visio for sure! those diagrams have that nice finish to em. i remember reading something about it in the preface, so maybe check that out. good luck with your own diagrams!
