You can observe precisely when edits occur, how much content is added during each session, and if the writing develops naturally over time or appears abruptly.
For instance, if a student’s paper appears fully composed in a single revision without evident progress, that signals potential AI involvement. However, if you can witness the document’s gradual progress with edits made over several days, it’s clearly genuine student work.
Is there something I’m missing? This method appears to potentially address the AI detection issue without needing advanced software or complex rules.
