I’m really confused about Gmail’s default time filter settings. When I try to search for emails within specific date ranges, the preset options just don’t make sense to me at all. Like who actually needs some of these weird time periods they offer by default?
I find myself constantly having to create custom date ranges because the built-in filters are so unhelpful. Has anyone else noticed how strange these default time filtering choices are? I’m wondering what the reasoning was behind picking these particular time spans.
It feels like they just randomly threw together some date options without thinking about what users actually need when searching through their email history. Am I the only one who thinks the default time filters could be way better?
