I’m having major problems with Zapier right now. The website loads fine but my automated workflows aren’t executing at all. I also can’t access my account dashboard.
The frustrating part is that I can’t reach their support team. You have to be logged in to submit tickets, but login isn’t working. Their community forum has the same login requirement. The chat feature only shows automated responses with no way to talk to a real person. I couldn’t find any phone number or direct email either.
This is really bad timing since I just started my business and have 25 new customers depending on these automations. I need to find a backup solution quickly.
Can anyone recommend a good automation platform that actually provides decent customer support when things go wrong?
I switched to n8n six months ago after getting burned by outages like this on other platforms. Main benefit - you can self-host it, so you’re not stuck waiting for their servers to come back online. Their support actually responds without making you jump through login hoops, and they do proper email support. Takes about a week to get used to the interface if you’re coming from Zapier, but the workflow logic works pretty much the same way. For now, I’d manually run your critical stuff while you check out alternatives. n8n has cloud hosting if you don’t want to manage servers yourself, but self-hosting means you control your own uptime.
Been through this exact mess 8 months ago when Zapier crashed during our product launch. Switched to Make (formerly Integromat) and honestly wish I’d done it sooner. Way more robust and their support actually responds in hours, not days. Also tried Microsoft Power Automate - works great if you’re already using their stuff. Learning curve’s pretty easy coming from Zapier since the logic’s similar. For now, set up manual processes for your critical workflows while you transition. Don’t make the same mistake I did though - have a backup automation ready on a second platform for when this happens again.
