Hey everyone,
I’m in a bit of a pickle and could use some advice. I’ve had great success using Hubspot for email marketing at my current job. We’ve sent out tons of emails to our contact lists and it’s brought in a lot of new business.
Now I’m starting my own marketing agency and want to do something similar to promote it. The problem is Hubspot’s pricing. To send more than 10,000 emails a month, they want me to pay $3,500 for their plan. That’s way out of my budget right now.
Does anyone know of a good alternative that won’t break the bank? I’d love something with workflow features like Hubspot, but the most important thing is being able to handle large-scale email campaigns.
Any suggestions would be super helpful. Thanks in advance!
hey isaac, have u tried mailerlite? it’s way cheaper than hubspot and can handle big campaigns. i use it for my small biz and it works great. the automation stuff is pretty good too. might be worth checkin out for ur agency. good luck man!
Having run email campaigns for various clients, I can vouch for Mailchimp as a cost-effective solution for high-volume sending. Their pricing is tiered based on list size, making it scalable as your agency grows.
Mailchimp offers robust automation features, though not as extensive as Hubspot’s. Their templates are customizable and mobile-responsive, which is crucial for today’s audience.
One often-overlooked advantage is Mailchimp’s integration capabilities. As your agency expands, you’ll likely need to connect your email platform with other tools. Mailchimp plays well with most CRMs and analytics platforms.
Remember to prioritize list hygiene to maintain good sender reputation. Regular cleaning of inactive subscribers can improve deliverability and keep costs down. Best of luck with your new venture!
I’ve been using Sendy for a while now, and it’s been a game-changer for high-volume campaigns on a budget. It’s a self-hosted solution that works with Amazon SES, which means incredibly low costs per email sent.
The initial setup can be a bit technical, but once it’s running, it’s smooth sailing. You get unlimited subscribers and emails for a one-time fee, plus the minimal Amazon SES costs.
Sendy’s automation features aren’t as advanced as HubSpot’s, but they cover the basics well. Plus, the reporting is solid, giving you good insights into your campaigns.
One caveat: you’ll need to be more hands-on with deliverability. But if you’re willing to put in some work, Sendy can save you thousands compared to other platforms. It’s been a lifesaver for my agency’s email marketing efforts.
I’ve been in your shoes, Isaac. When I started my agency, budget was tight but email marketing was crucial. After testing several options, I landed on SendinBlue. It’s been a game-changer for us.
SendinBlue offers generous email limits at affordable prices. Their workflow automation isn’t as fancy as HubSpot’s, but it gets the job done. Plus, their deliverability rates are solid.
One tip: focus on list quality over quantity. We saw better results by segmenting our audience and sending targeted campaigns, even with fewer total emails. This approach also keeps costs down.
Don’t forget to factor in time spent learning a new platform. SendinBlue’s interface is intuitive, which saved us headaches during onboarding. Good luck with your new venture!
