Alert: Major Email Service Disruption Reported

Email Sending Issues: SSL Problems with European SMTP Server

Hey everyone, I’m having some trouble with my email service provider. It looks like there’s a big problem going on right now. I keep getting SSL connection errors when I try to send emails through the European SMTP server.

Has anyone else run into this? It’s really messing up my workflow. I’ve tried a few things:

  1. Checked my internet connection
  2. Restarted my email client
  3. Tried a different port

Nothing seems to work. Is this a widespread issue or just me? Any ideas on how to get around it for now? I’ve got some important emails I need to send out ASAP.

Thanks for any help or info you can provide!

I’ve been dealing with this exact issue for the past few hours, and it’s definitely not just you. From what I can gather, it seems to be a widespread problem affecting multiple users across Europe.

I reached out to the support team, and they confirmed they’re aware of the SSL certificate issue on their European SMTP servers. They’re working on a fix, but no ETA yet.

In the meantime, I found a temporary workaround that might help. Try switching to the US-based SMTP server if that’s an option for you. It’s not ideal, and you might see slightly slower send times, but it’s better than nothing when you’ve got urgent emails to send.

Also, keep an eye on their status page or Twitter feed for updates. They usually post there first when there are major service disruptions like this. Hang in there – hopefully, they’ll have it sorted soon!

hey guys, i’m seein this problem too. tried connecting thru my phone’s hotspot but no luck. anyone know if other regions r affected? maybe we could use a different server for now? this is killin my productivity  hope they fix it soon or at least give us an update

I’ve encountered similar issues with email service providers before, and it’s often due to server-side problems. In this case, it seems the European SMTP server is experiencing SSL certificate difficulties.

While waiting for an official fix, you might consider using a VPN to connect through a different region. This could allow you to bypass the problematic European server. Alternatively, if your email client supports it, try switching to IMAP or POP3 temporarily.

For critical emails, you could use a web-based email service as a stopgap measure. Services like Gmail or Outlook.com are generally reliable alternatives in emergencies.

Remember to keep your sent items folder backed up locally during this time, just in case any messages get lost in transit due to the server issues.
