I’m looking for some advice on Whatsapp API options that work well with n8n. I know the official Meta API is out there, but it’s getting pretty expensive for small businesses, especially with the price changes coming up.
I’ve been checking out some unofficial APIs, and WAHA caught my eye at first. But then I noticed it doesn’t have trigger support anymore, which is a bummer.
Has anyone found a good alternative that’s more budget-friendly and plays nice with n8n? What are you using in your setups? I’d love to hear about your experiences and recommendations.

hey lucask, have u tried baileys? it’s pretty solid for n8n and won’t break the bank. i’ve been using it for a few months now and it’s been smooth sailing. just make sure u keep an eye on updates cuz whatsapp can be finicky sometimes. good luck mate!
