Alternatives to Gmail for creating multiple free email accounts?

Hey everyone,

I’m on the hunt for a good email service that lets me set up multiple free accounts. Gmail used to be my go-to, but I’m wondering if there are other options out there.

Here’s what I’m looking for:

  • Ability to create several email addresses
  • Totally free to use
  • Decent storage space
  • Easy to set up and manage

Has anyone tried any services that fit the bill? I’d love to hear about your experiences or recommendations. Any tips on how to manage multiple accounts would be awesome too.

Thanks in advance for your help!

hey, i’ve had good luck with protonmail. you can make multiple free accounts easy, and it’s got decent storage (500mb per account). the encryption’s awesome too. just fyi, free version has some limits like fewer messages per day. but it works great for keepin different emails separate. interface takes some gettin used to tho

I’ve had good experience with Tuta (formerly Tutanota) for creating multiple free accounts. It’s based in Germany and focuses on privacy, which is a big plus. You get 1GB storage per account, which is decent for basic use. The encryption is solid, so your emails stay private. Setting up new addresses is straightforward, and you can manage them all easily.

One thing to note is that the free tier has some limitations, but it’s generally sufficient for most users. I find it particularly useful for keeping personal and work emails separate. The mobile app is functional, making it easy to check multiple accounts on the go. Just be prepared for a slightly different interface compared to Gmail. Overall, it’s a good choice if you value privacy and need multiple accounts without cost.

I’ve been using ProtonMail for a while now and it’s been great for creating multiple free accounts. You get 500MB storage per account, which isn’t huge but enough for basic use. The encryption is top-notch, so your emails stay private. Setting up new addresses is straightforward, and you can manage them all from one dashboard.

One thing to keep in mind is that the free tier has some limitations, like fewer messages per day and limited support. But for most people, it’s more than adequate. I’ve found it particularly useful for separating personal and project-related emails.

The mobile app works well too, making it easy to check multiple accounts on the go. Just be prepared for a bit of a learning curve if you’re used to Gmail’s interface. Overall, it’s a solid choice if privacy and multiple accounts are your priorities.
