Animated GIFs Now Available in Comment Section - Please Keep it Respectful!

We’ve just added support for animated GIFs in our comment system! Want to give it a try? Just respond to this thread with a comment and you’ll notice a new “GIF” button on the far right side of the comment input area. You can search through tons of animated images to find one that perfectly matches your mood or reaction.

Just a friendly reminder that our community guidelines still apply to GIF usage. Let’s keep things friendly and avoid using GIFs to mock or be mean to other users. Thanks for helping maintain a positive environment for everyone!

Perfect timing! We rolled out something similar at work last year and it completely changed how people communicate internally.

One lesson learned - add a preview function if you haven’t already. People pick the wrong GIF all the time and it gets awkward fast.

Also throw in a report button just for GIFs. Normal text moderation doesn’t catch problematic animated stuff.

Should work well here though. This community’s pretty solid so I doubt there’ll be many problems.
