Automate Daily Video Delivery for New Users over Two Weeks

Hey everyone! I’m trying to set up a system for my business where new users get a series of tutorial videos. I want to send one video per day for 14 days after they sign up. Is there a way to do this with Zapier?

I’m thinking it should work like this:

Day 1: Send Video 1
Day 2: Send Video 2
...
Day 14: Send Video 14

I’m not sure how to set this up in Zapier. Does anyone have experience with something similar? How can I make sure each video is sent on the right day? Any tips or tricks would be super helpful!

Thanks in advance for your help. I’m really excited to get this working for my users!

I’ve actually tackled this exact challenge before. While Zapier can work, I found it a bit finicky for this particular setup. What worked wonders for me was using Drip. It’s specifically designed for these kinds of email sequences and integrates seamlessly with most signup forms.

Here’s the key: Set up a 14-day automation workflow in Drip. Each day’s email contains the link to that day’s video. When a new user signs up, they’re automatically added to this workflow. The beauty is that it runs on autopilot once it’s set up.

One pro tip: I recommend creating all your videos upfront and hosting them on a platform like Vimeo. This way, you can easily manage and update the content without messing with the automation. Trust me, it’ll save you headaches down the line.

Good luck with your project! It’s a great way to onboard new users.

I’ve implemented a similar system for my online course platform and discovered that while Zapier is useful for many automations, a dedicated email marketing tool such as ConvertKit or ActiveCampaign can simplify daily video delivery over a two-week period. In my experience, setting up a 14-day email sequence that is triggered by a new user signup works very well. When a user registers, they are seamlessly added to this sequence, and each email sent includes a link to that day’s video. This method is more reliable and easier to manage than constructing intricate Zapier workflows, and it also offers enhanced analytics for performance tracking and adjustments.

hey zoestar, if zapier’s too clunky try mailchimp for a smoother 14-day email drip. they handle autoresponders well and ease set-up. u can even track open rates. best of luck, man!
