Best Endgame Builds for MH:Wilds - A Compilation

Optimized Setups for Late-Game MH:Wilds

Hey hunters! I’ve put together a list of some top-notch builds for the endgame in Monster Hunter: Wilds. These setups are great for regular farming if you’re experienced with your weapon or want to get better.

The builds focus on max damage output but feel free to swap in comfort skills if needed. They’re meant for solo play but work fine in groups too. This isn’t for speedrunning - just efficient general use.

I’ve included builds for all 14 weapon types from Great Sword to Bow. Each one links to a detailed guide with armor sets, skills, and explanations.

Keep in mind the game is still new so these might not be 100% perfect yet. The authors are updating them as we learn more. Let them know if you have feedback!

Big thanks to the Mathalos Nest Discord for checking the math on these.

Hope this helps you hunt more effectively! Let me know if you have any questions about the builds.

As someone who’s sunk countless hours into MH:Wilds, I can’t stress enough how crucial a solid endgame build is. While those meta setups are great, I’ve found mixing in some defensive skills can be a game-changer, especially when tackling those brutal tempered monsters.

My go-to for Charge Blade has been a hybrid build focusing on Guard, Guard Up, and offensive guard, alongside the usual damage skills. It’s not the highest DPS on paper, but the survivability lets me stay aggressive without carting.

For Bow, I’ve had success with a crit element build that incorporates Constitution and Stamina Surge. The extra stamina management really helps maintain consistent damage output over long hunts.

Don’t be afraid to experiment and find what works for your playstyle. The ‘best’ build is often the one that lets you hunt comfortably and efficiently.

I’ve been running a Lance build that’s been absolutely dominating in endgame content. It’s centered around the Nargacuga lance for that sweet affinity boost, paired with the Teostra armor set for Master’s Touch. The key skills are Critical Eye 7, Weakness Exploit 3, and Critical Boost 3 for maximum damage output.

What really sets this build apart is the inclusion of Offensive Guard 3. It rewards aggressive play and proper counter-timing, which is crucial for lance mastery. I’ve also squeezed in Guard 3 for comfortable blocking without sacrificing too much offense.

This setup allows for nearly infinite sharpness and constant pressure on the monster. It’s not just about raw numbers - the playstyle it enables is incredibly satisfying and effective. I’ve shaved minutes off my hunt times since refining this build.

yo those builds r sick but dont sleep on insect glaive! been rockin a kinsect boost build w/ airborne an masters touch. its not meta but so fun 2 fly around n dish out damage. plus u can dodge most attacks. just gotta watch ur stamina n keep buffs up. anyone else tried somthin similar?
