Best methods to download years of Google Analytics data before losing access?

I need to pull out 5 years worth of data from a Google Analytics property before they cut off my access in a few days. The website has been pretty busy so there’s tons of historical information I need to save.

My situation

I’m looking for the easiest way to get this data into Excel or some other format I can work with later. I’ve never tackled something like this before and I’m hoping someone here has been through this.

I really want to avoid using the Google Analytics reporting API if possible since I’m not that technical. Are there any tools or shortcuts that work better?

What I tried

I ended up doing manual exports at the time but I’m wondering if there are better options now. Has anyone found good third-party tools that can handle bulk data extraction from GA without needing to code everything yourself?

Any tips on the most efficient approach would be really helpful.

Been there! Had to pull 3 years of GA data fast when switching agencies. GA Intelligence is a lifesaver - you can ask it questions in plain English instead of clicking through endless menus. Break exports into quarters, not full years. Trust me, you’ll avoid those annoying timeouts. Set up custom report templates once and reuse them for different time periods. Export audience overview and top landing pages separately - the row limits will chop off important stuff if you combine them. Quick heads up: GA4 exports work differently than Universal Analytics, so check your format before you start analyzing.
