I’m looking for recommendations on software that can pull together Google Analytics 4 information from multiple client accounts. Right now I handle about 50 different GA4 properties and it’s really hard to compare year-over-year numbers without manually checking each one. Creating spreadsheets by hand takes forever and I know there has to be a better way. I want to see overall trends and performance metrics in one dashboard instead of jumping between accounts all day. Has anyone found a good solution for this kind of reporting? I heard about some agency tools but not sure which ones actually work well for GA4 data consolidation.
I faced a similar challenge until I came across Supermetrics about eight months ago. The initial setup process can be a bit tedious since you have to authenticate each individual GA4 property, but after that, it seamlessly consolidates everything into Google Sheets or Data Studio. This significantly simplifies year-over-year comparisons as all the data is centralized. While I also experimented with Funnel.io, it has a steeper learning curve and higher costs. For agencies juggling multiple clients, Supermetrics can save you considerable time. However, keep in mind that the monthly fees can accumulate based on the number of sources you connect, but it ultimately proves worthwhile by reducing time spent on manual reporting.
look, I totally get it! looker studio has been huge for me too. u can connect all ur GA4 accounts and make custom dashboards without spending a dime. sure, the setup takes some time, but once u get it, all ur data is live in one place. way better than other paid options.
Been there with the multi-client nightmare. Built a custom solution using GA4’s Reporting API after getting fed up with monthly costs from third-party tools.
Took a weekend to set up Python scripts that pull data from all properties into one database. Now I’ve got automated daily reports feeding custom dashboards.
The API handles 50 properties no problem once you sort out authentication. You can pull whatever metrics you want and create custom calculations most tools can’t do.
Not into coding? Try BigQuery export. GA4 auto-exports your data there, then you just query across all client datasets. No per-source fees like other solutions.
Both give you way more flexibility than prebuilt tools and scale better when adding clients.
Try Tableau with the GA4 connector if you’ve got the budget. I made the switch from manual spreadsheets about six months ago when juggling 40+ client properties became a nightmare. The connector pulls GA4 data automatically and refreshes itself - no more weekend report marathons. You can build cross-property comparisons and spot trends that’d be impossible to track manually. Yeah, there’s a learning curve compared to other tools, but the visualizations are worth it. I can catch performance patterns across all clients in minutes now instead of hours. Tableau isn’t cheap, but it’s paid for itself with the time I’ve saved.
