Hey everyone! I’ve been playing around with some cool AI stuff lately. I made this thing that takes any text you give it and turns it into a short comedy podcast episode. It’s pretty neat!
I’m using it to test out different text-to-speech programs. The new OpenAI one is really good. You can even tell it how to say things in a certain way which is super helpful.
Here’s how it works:
- AI writes a short comedy script
- It goes through each line of the script
- OpenAI turns each line into speech
- All the audio bits get put together
- The final podcast gets sent to my phone
The coolest parts are:
- OpenAI’s voices sound really good
- I can do audio stuff right in the program
- It’s easy to use this in other projects
Just a heads up though - sometimes the AI makes weird sounds or says odd things. I have to clean that up afterward but it’s not perfect yet.
