I’ve been using Notion for a while now, but I’m thinking about moving my stuff to Google Docs. The automation options with Claude Projects and other tools seem really handy. Plus, Google Docs feels easier to work with for updating docs automatically.
I’m wondering if I’m missing something important that Notion does better. Has anyone made a similar switch? What was your experience like?
I know Notion has AI features, but they don’t seem as powerful as other options out there. What do you think? Am I making the right move?
I’ve also recently made the switch from Notion to Google Docs and can relate to the tradeoffs between the two. While Notion offers a robust set of database features, I ultimately found that Google Docs provides a more fluid experience, particularly when it comes to collaborating in real-time. The Google ecosystem made it easier to integrate workflows, and the mobile access has proven more reliable. Nonetheless, there are moments when the specialized organizational tools in Notion are missed. Overall, Google Docs meets my needs, especially with its seamless integration.
Hey, I switched from notion to gdocs last year. no regrets! The integration with other google stuff is awesome. Plus, it’s way easier to share docs with ppl who aren’t tech savvy. only downside is I miss some of notions fancy organization features. but overall, gdocs rocks for me!
