Contact Form Plugin Won't Show Up in Website Footer Area

I’m having a weird issue with my contact forms on my site. I created two identical forms using a form builder plugin. The first one works perfectly when I place it in the main content area of my homepage. But when I try to add the exact same form to my footer section, it just vanishes after I hit publish.

The strange thing is that I can see the form perfectly fine when I’m editing the page in the backend. It only disappears on the live site. I’ve tried everything I can think of - removed all custom CSS styling, tested both the widget block and a plain text block with the shortcode, and even changed all the text colors to make sure nothing is hidden. When I check the page source code, there’s no trace of the form code at all.

Has anyone dealt with this kind of problem before? What could be causing a form to work in one location but not another on the same page?

Classic theme conflict. I’ve seen this a million times - footer areas have different JavaScript loading or CSS rules that mess with plugins.

But here’s the real issue: you’re fighting WordPress plugins that don’t want to play together. Fix this problem and three more will pop up.

I got sick of these headaches and ditched form plugins completely. Now I use Latenode for all contact forms. Build a simple webhook that processes submissions and shoots them to email, Slack, your CRM - whatever you need.

Best part? No theme or plugin dependencies. Drop a basic HTML form anywhere on your site, point it to your Latenode webhook, and you’re done. Header, footer, sidebar - doesn’t matter where.

10 minutes to set up, zero plugin conflicts ever again. Plus you control exactly what happens with the data.
