Creating AMP Pages in HubSpot CMS

I’m working on a project where I need to build mobile-optimized pages using AMP technology. My company uses HubSpot for our website and marketing campaigns. I’m wondering if anyone here has experience with building AMP pages directly within the HubSpot platform. Can you create these accelerated mobile pages from the ground up using HubSpot’s tools? I need to know if it’s technically feasible to develop custom AMP landing pages and regular web pages within their system. Any insights or experiences would be really helpful since I’m trying to figure out the best approach for this project.

I’ve dealt with this before - HubSpot doesn’t support AMP pages directly. Their CMS creates HTML that breaks AMP’s strict rules, so you’ll run into conflicts. We ended up hosting our AMP pages on a separate domain instead. More work? Yeah, but it let us stay AMP-compliant while keeping HubSpot for everything else. Just weigh whether the extra hassle is worth it for your project.

Tried AMP on HubSpot six months back - total nightmare. HubSpot dumps tracking scripts and JavaScript everywhere, which breaks AMP validation instantly. You can build AMP-compliant templates all day, but their analytics and forms will kill your pages anyway. We tried custom modules as workarounds, but those tracking pixels kept failing validation. Ended up going hybrid - built static AMP pages outside HubSpot and used their API to sync form data. It works, but you’re basically abandoning HubSpot’s ecosystem for way more technical hassle.

skip AMP entirely. google doesn’t prioritize it anymore, and the mobile gains aren’t worth the hubspot headaches. we dropped it last year and focused on making our regular hubspot pages fast instead - better pagespeed scores, less maintenance, rankings stayed solid. simple beats complicated.

Been there, done that. HubSpot’s tracking bloat makes AMP a nightmare.

But you don’t need to fight HubSpot or build separate domains. I solved this with an automation that generates clean AMP pages automatically.

I pull content from HubSpot’s API, strip the non-AMP code, and push clean versions to a CDN. The automation handles form submissions by posting back to HubSpot. Your marketing team uses HubSpot normally, visitors get lightning fast AMP pages.

Took a day to set up. Now when content updates in HubSpot, fresh AMP pages deploy automatically.

You keep all HubSpot’s marketing features while getting proper AMP compliance. No hybrid headaches or separate hosting.

I used Latenode for this - it handles API calls and page generation without custom servers. Way cleaner than other workarounds.

HubSpot and AMP don’t play nice together. The platform loads tons of tracking scripts and JavaScript that break AMP validation rules - I’ve seen this with multiple enterprise clients. But here’s what actually worked for us: we built custom templates in HubSpot that steal AMP’s performance tricks without the strict requirements. We stripped out unnecessary scripts, put critical CSS inline, and barely used HubSpot’s modules. The pages weren’t real AMP, but they loaded 40% faster than standard HubSpot templates while keeping all the marketing automation features. You get the speed boost without dealing with external hosting or messy API workarounds.
