Does Ivanti Neurons iPaaS work with UEM solutions?

Hi everyone,

I recently came across the Ivanti iPaaS platform and I’m curious about its compatibility with UEM systems. Our company is looking into changing our current UEM solution and I want to know if the Neurons iPaaS can connect with Neurons UEM products.

So far I only found documentation showing it works with Neurons ITSM, but nothing about UEM integration. I reached out to Ivanti support but haven’t heard back yet.

Has anyone here used this combination before? Any insights would be really helpful!

Thanks

I set this up about eight months ago. Yes, iPaaS supports UEM integration, but the docs are scattered everywhere across different guides. We got our Neurons UEM connected without major headaches, though setting up the initial connector took some trial and error. Wish someone had told me upfront - UEM data fields use completely different names in iPaaS workflows. Device compliance status mappings were a real pain to figure out. Once you get it configured right, it works fine, but plan on spending serious time on field mapping. Ivanti support did help us with specific config examples when we hit the same doc gaps. Pro tip: mention you’re evaluating for enterprise deployment - their response time got way better after that.

We rolled this out last year when we overhauled our infrastructure. iPaaS works with UEM, but you’ll hit some weird issues during setup. The real pain wasn’t the tech side - it was getting the workflows to play nice between systems. Device enrollment triggers from UEM kept failing through iPaaS at first. Turns out we screwed up the webhook config. It handles bulk device stuff pretty well, though we saw lag spikes when lots of people enrolled at once. The docs suck compared to ITSM integration guides, so you’ll be bugging support constantly. It’s solid once you get it working, but plan extra time for testing weird edge cases with your UEM policies.

Yeah, iPaaS integrates with UEM solutions pretty well. I set up something similar two years ago - connected their UEM platform through the iPaaS layer.

Make sure your API endpoints are configured right on both sides. We had authentication tokens timing out at first, but once we fixed that, data flowed smoothly.

Watch out for sync frequency though - it’ll kill performance with large device inventories. We throttled our sync jobs so we wouldn’t overwhelm the UEM API.

This overview helps explain the platform before you get into the technical stuff:

What specific data do you need syncing between systems? That’ll drive how you configure the connector.

absolutely! we’ve been using the neurons ipaas with uem for a while and it’s seamless. once you get the connectors in place, syncing data is a breeze. took us a little time to set it all up, but now it runs flawlessly!
