From my experience, a solid role management system is crucial. It should allow users to self-assign roles and admins to create custom role hierarchies easily. This streamlines server organization and user engagement.
Another key feature is a versatile poll/voting system. It’s incredibly useful for making group decisions or gathering opinions quickly.
If you’re looking for something unique, consider implementing a user-driven economy system. Allow members to earn and spend virtual currency through activities or trades. It adds a fun, interactive layer to the server.
Lastly, a customizable welcome message for new members can really set the tone for your community. Make sure it’s easy to set up and can include server-specific information or rules.
As someone who’s been running a Discord server for a few years now, I can tell you that moderation tools are absolutely essential. A good bot should be able to automatically filter out spam, inappropriate content, and excessive caps or emojis. It’s a huge time-saver for mods.
For fun features, I’ve found that custom commands are a big hit. Let users create their own little inside jokes or quick responses. It really helps build community spirit.
