Getting connection security error when trying to reach Airtable workspace

Hello everyone! I need some help with a frustrating problem. For about 2 weeks now, I keep getting a “Your connection is not private” error message whenever I try to open my Airtable workspace. This is really weird because I’ve been using the same workspace for my job for over a year without any problems. I already tried the usual fixes like clearing my browser cache and deleting cookies, but nothing worked. I even tested it in incognito mode and got the exact same error. Has anyone else run into this issue before? I would really appreciate any suggestions on how to get this resolved. Thanks!

Same thing happened to me 6 months ago with a different service. Tried all the usual browser fixes but the SSL error wouldn’t go away.

Flushing DNS cache finally fixed it. Windows: open command prompt as admin and run ipconfig /flushdns. Mac: sudo dscacheutil -flushcache.

Check if you’re using custom DNS servers like Cloudflare or Google DNS. Try switching back to your ISP’s default DNS temporarily - might help you figure out if that’s causing it.

Still broken? Try accessing Airtable through a VPN. I’ve seen ISPs have routing issues to certain services that mess up certificate validation.

I experienced a similar issue not long ago. In my case, it was my antivirus software that was interfering with secure connections following an update. I recommend checking if any other security programs might be affecting HTTPS access. Additionally, you could try accessing Airtable from a different device on the same network to help determine if the problem is isolated to your current setup or if it’s a broader issue. It’s also a good idea to ensure that your system’s date and time are set correctly since incorrect settings can lead to SSL certificate problems.

for sure! sounds like an ssl cert prob. i’ve faced it before too, and it usually gets better on its own after they update. if u can, try another network, big corporate firewalls can mess things up sometimes.
