Hey everyone, I’m curious about this NSWTL telegram bot that I came across recently. I’m a bit hesitant to start using it because I’m not sure how trustworthy it is. Before I dive in and start using the services or features it offers, I wanted to get some feedback from the community first.
Has anyone here actually used this bot before? What was your experience like? Did you run into any security issues or weird behavior? I’m particularly concerned about whether it’s safe to share any personal information or if there are any privacy risks I should be aware of.

i haven’t used the NSWTL bot, but it does seem a bit risky. better safe than sorry, right? def look up some reviews before sharing any personal info with it.
Used it for two weeks - works fine for basic transport stuff. Big red flag though: no info on who made it or where your data goes. It caches location requests, which freaked me out, so I turned off location sharing. The bot seems legit but the whole transparency thing is sketchy. If you want to try it, make a burner Telegram account and don’t share personal info. Honestly, the official NSW transport apps are slower but at least you know they’re not shady.
I tried the NSWTL bot about three months ago after seeing it mentioned here. Mixed results - it handled basic queries fine, but kept asking for permissions that didn’t seem necessary. What killed it for me was the complete lack of privacy info or data handling docs. Plus the responses felt pretty robotic and generic. I’d stick with official transport apps or proven alternatives until we know who’s actually running this thing and what they’re doing with our data.
